Columns can be manipulated in many of the same ways as columns in applications such as Microsoft Excel. Columns can be sorted, renamed, filtered, frozen, selected and so on.

• Sort Ascending – Sorts the data in ascending order.
• Sort Descending – Sorts the data in descending order.
• Custom Sorting – Sorts the data using a custom dialog to sort up to four columns at a time.
  
• Rename – Renames the column header.
• Show Columns – Allows selecting which columns to show in the data tab.
  
• Freeze This Column – Freezes the selected columns. All columns to the left of the right-most selected column are frozen. Frozen columns do not scroll when the horizontal scroll bar is used.
• Unfreeze This Column – Unfreezes the selected column, allowing it to scroll when the horizontal scroll bar is used.
• Unfreeze All Columns – Unfreezes all columns.
• Alignment – Selects left, center or right justified column alignment.
• Show Filters – Opens a new row below the column headings in which filters can be entered to reduce the number of rows shown based on criteria defined by the user.
